Men Are From Mars
Men are from Mars
Now we’re going back
But we’ll be taking women with us
‘Cause that’s one thing which we lack
Of course, not completely
Or we would not exist
But, there is a definite shortage
And they are quite high on our list
We’ll return to our mother-planet
From whence the Earth was seeded
We will then reseed Mars
As a backup home is needed
All our eggs are in one basket
And one never knows ones fate
We need to diversify
Before it gets too late
If the Earth is someday struck
By a comet the size of Maine
There will simply be nothing left
I think that’s just insane
But with a colony living on Mars
Civilization will keep going
We will take with us our knowledge
And other things worth growing
Then someday if the Earth
Is once again worth improving
We’ll return and re-germinate
To keep the cycle moving
Then outward to the universe
Other orbs we’ll seek to seed
We will send forth our children
To build homes, which they will need
Onward, onward, evermore
Life will go on extending
Onward, outward, evermore
To the universe un-ending
