Lon spends most of his free time writing. \u00a0The son of a poet, he has published a collection of poems, both his and those of his father, in: <em><strong>G. R. Grover &amp; Sons Anthology<\/strong><\/em>.<\/p>\n<p>Publications in the works include two humor selections: <strong><em>What\u2019s In A Name? (How the wrong name can ruin your life<\/em><\/strong>) &amp; <strong><em>Words For Dummy and other descriptive phrases<\/em><\/strong> (a takeoff on the Title: Word For Dummies), plus, a children\u2019s book: <strong><em>When I\u2019m Grown Up And Older<\/em><\/strong>, illustrated by Clara Viktora.<\/p>\n<p>As a space enthusiast, Lon has held memberships in several space advocacy groups and has been an informal student of space technology in general since the early 1980\u2019s. \u00a0He\u2019s taken some college courses, but never gotten around to obtaining the degree to make him an official \u2018Rocket Scientist\u2019.<\/p>\n<p><strong><em>\u200bEmail From Mars: Outbound<\/em><\/strong> is Lon\u2019s first novel. \u00a0The sequel, <strong><em>Email From Mars: Under Martian Law<\/em><\/strong>, is underway with several chapters written. \u00a0<strong><em>Email From Mars: Inbound<\/em><\/strong> is being contemplated to complete the trilogy. \u00a0By the time that one is done, Lon plans to retire from the day job and settle into a new career as a full-time writer.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Lon H.
